Monday- Friday SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Planning coordinator works as part of the planning team to ensure the delivery of an optimal production schedule that is supported all inbound material deliveries from internal and external suppliers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Schedules plant production across production lines to optimize production efficiency, minimize changeover time, and ensure customer delivery.
Production entries in the company's internal systems as well as, customer's systems.
Sales entries in the company's internal system.
Order and track materials using MRP systems to support production.
Create internal work orders, and pick lists to support the production schedule.
Enter customer product receipts into the customer's system when required Ensure customer product receipts have been properly entered into the system Works closely with Production and Quality Managers to coordinate the execution of the production schedule.
Meet with customers in person, and via phone to communicate production plans, risk to customer orders, and help requests.
Work closely with customer in properly prioritizing scheduling of at risk orders.
Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by management REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years' experience in planning in a high-speed make to order environment is highly preferred Must have strong attention to details Previous data entry experience is required Heavily skilled in data entry required Independent working with high data integrity and accuracy required Possess high professional ethics, good judgment, and ability to take decisive action Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills across shifts Must have intermediate Microsoft Office Skills Must be a self-starter and able to complete task without follow- up Job Type:
