Class A CDL Driver Trainee

Interested in becoming a Kalmbach Company Driver but don't have your Class A CDL? Join our Driver Trainee Program while working as a full-time Kalmbach Team Member! We are now accepting candidates, here are some of our required qualifications:
Class A permit
Farm or Livestock experience (example: pulling livestock trailers)
Good Driving Record
Kalmbach Feeds is a family-owned company based out of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, which is a small, family-oriented town in northwestern Ohio. Kalmbach Feeds manufactures and sells top quality nutritional products for all livestock poultry, and companion animals.
Kalmbach Feeds started in 1963 is celebrating 50 straight years of increasing profits, 50 straight years of increasing sales, and 50 years without a layoff.
Drivers average 1700 to 2200 miles per week
Transportation team members are paid a base rate per mile.
Pay for new drivers are based on experience.
In addition to their per mile pay, members of the Transportation Team are paid for loading and unloading bulk, bags and pallet deliveries, with extra premium for special equipment and short hauls.
Must be available to work nights, weekends and overtime.
DOT knowledge.
Ability to meet tight schedules and handle multiple assignments.
At least one year of driving experience with a clean record and a solid work history.(Semi/Tractor Trailer)
Tractor Trailer experience must be within the last couple of years.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
Must have a high school diploma/GED.
Must be able to load bulk and bagged product into bulk feed and van trailers

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
