Roxbury is a unique inpatient facility offering acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehab services for adults. Our inpatient psychiatric program for adolescents is designed to treat youth ages 13-17 in a caring and nurturing environment. Our medical team is composed of board eligible/certified psychiatrists, PAs/CRNPs, and nurses that provide close medical monitoring and the highest quality of care to our patients.


Roxbury is recruiting nurses to work on our acute psychiatric units. We currently have full-time, part-time , and per diem positions available. Shifts are?12 hours with every other weekend rotation for full- and part-time. Graduate of an accredited licensed?registered nursing program. One year prior experience in inpatient or mental health nursing, preferred.? Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed?registered nurse.

Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste. General hospital environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.

Must possess knowledge therapeutic relationship processes, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors, and CPR training, preferred.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
