CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Roxbury Treatment Center is a private 112-bed sub-acute detoxification/rehabilitation and psychiatric center located at the foothills of the scenic Blue Mountains. In our 60-bed chemical dependency unit, detoxification is conducted under close medical supervision. The team of physicians and our around-the-clock nursing staff provide the needed assessment and care. The Recovery Program offers a professional approach to the treatment of chemical dependencies. Our treatment team includes Certified Addictions Counselors, Masters and Bachelors level clinicians, and nurses.


Roxbury also has an acute psychiatric unit treating individuals with mental illnesses who need short-term hospitalization. This program specializes in treating adult patients who are suffering from co-occurring disorders; mental illness and substance use/abuse issues. Staffed with mental health techs and nurses around the clock, our Chief Medical Officer and psychiatrists oversee this cutting edge psychiatric treatment program.


An acute psychiatric unit treating adolescents between the ages of 13 - 17 is currently in operation at Roxbury Treatment Center. Staffed with mental health techs and nurses around the clock, our Chief Medical Officer and psychiatrists oversee this cutting edge psychiatric treatment program helping teens deal with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.


Roxbury is currently recruiting a Clinical Supervisor. The Clinical Supervisor is a full time?exempt position which reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services Director. In this position, the right candidate will supervisor our chemical dependency counselors, and counselor aides. The Clinical Supervisor works?various days, hours, and weekends.

Job Summary:


Coordinates all clinical services provided to patients of Roxbury?s Chemical Dependence Program. Duties include supervision of clinical staff; oversight of staff scheduling; provision of group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and completion of documentation. Provides on site leadership and daily direction for the clinical programming of the Chemical Dependence Program.


Education and Experience:



  • Master?s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work, or other related field which includes? a practicum in health or human service agency is required, preferably with in a drug and alcohol or mental health setting.


Licensure/Certification:?????????????????


Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP), or Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) required. License Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Practical Counselor (LPC) preferred.


Knowledge:?????????


Must possess knowledge of dual diagnosis/chemical dependency/mental health patients; age-specific patient issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis prevention and intervention techniques; knowledge and comprehension of regulatory agency standards (DOH, DPW, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.); staff development procedures and requirements; ability to communicate orally, telephonically, and in writing; working knowledge of computer systems and various software; must maintain certification CPR, Verbal De-Escalation, and Handle With Care. Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player. Good documentation, organization and time management skills are necessary. Must be effective in decision-making and problem solving.


Physical Requirements:


Must have physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
