Maintenance Engineer Electrical and Electronics

Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer-Maintenance is responsible to drive a continuous improvement philosophy (human, material, intellectual and financial).The main responsibilities are to minimize production downtime through maintenance activities of equipment?s and tools. Secure machine performance and extend machine life through management of preventive, predictive maintenance programs. Root cause analysis on every failure causing production downtime.

  • Planning and scheduling the Maintenance work and responding to equipment failures

  • Supporting the team in trouble shooting day to day maintenance activities in the plant

  • Successfully implementing maintenance and reliability systems throughout the plant, such as TPM, EWO and OEE

  • Works daily within MP2 (CMMS), BAS, and EBD in order to keep the department flow of work and projects consistently moving

  • Ensure departmental compliance in accordance with ISO standards

  • Coach the Maintenance technician specialist

  • Direct/guide maintenance technician engaged in equipment installation, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance

  • Responsible for Maintenance KPI of Availability, MTBF, MTTR, OEE

  • Contribute to overall best practices implementation and value added cost control for overall maintenance

  • Prepare maintenance plans for restoring equipment to operating condition in a minimum amount of time balancing repair cost and minimizing future failures using problem solving tools

  • Suggest and implement equipment project improvements for process efficiency

  • Lead and conduct kaizen improvement activities focused on safety, quality, and cost initiatives

  • Structured way of problem solving using DMAIC tools and reliability centered maintenance methodology

  • Machine schematics Drawings and prints (validate, update, control)

  • Machine component evaluations (life cycle)

  • Time-based maintenance schedule development and attainment

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Work collaboratively with different departments in problem solving

  • Set Bill of Material, spare parts list, maintenance program and troubleshooting instructions

  • Predictive Maintenance for critical equipment?s

  • Apply Maintenance experience upfront in the manufacturing development process, to ensure the smooth implementation of EEM


  • Bachelor?s degree in Electrical , Industrial, Mechanical/ Engineering Technology is required

  • 3-5 years of experience in Plant Maintenance/ Technology/ Quality /Manufacturing Engineering

  • Basic computer skills and be able to use various software applications in the performance of their duties (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other PC based software applications that may be required)

Desirable Skills

  • Previous Engineering Internship or Coop assignment in Manufacturing or similar environment

  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and electrical and instrument system design

  • Knowledge of PLC and DCS system design, programming, and troubleshooting

  • Experience in? programming and implementation of Programmable Logic Controllers, AC/DC motor drives, Human Machine Interface, and industrial component networking

  • Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens S7 PLC and Rockwell AC/DC drives

  • AutoCAD experience is preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of personal initiative

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
